From your terminal to the MRT
These directions start in the public area after immigration and baggage reclaim. They are separate from connections inside the transit area.

T1Free Skytrain to T2 or T3
Public area · after immigration
- Take the public-area Skytrain to T2 or T3.
- Follow Train / MRT signs down to the station.
T2Walk directly to the MRT station

- T2 connects directly to the MRT station. Follow Train / MRT signs.
T3Walk directly to the MRT station
Public area · after immigration
- T3 connects to the same MRT station. Follow Train / MRT signs without moving to T2.
T4Free shuttle bus to T2

- Board the free T2 shuttle at the public-area Arrival Bus Lounge. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes.
- At T2, follow Train / MRT signs to the airport MRT station.

The Skytrain normally runs 05:00–02:00. Outside these hours, walk from T1 via Jewel’s Level 3 link bridges to T2 or T3. Shuttle routes vary by time of day; check airport signs.
Temporary change on 2026-10-06: no Skytrain 00:00–05:00
The airport has announced an earlier shutdown on this date. Follow its alternative directions, including public-area link bridges, during this period.
Prepare your payment before the gates
Use an accepted contactless Visa or Mastercard, or a supported mobile wallet. Foreign-issued Visa and Mastercard incur a S$0.60 administration fee for each day of use, before any issuer fees.
To buy a travel card, check the SimplyGo ticket office at the airport MRT station. It opens daily 08:00–21:00. Prepare an accepted payment method in advance if you arrive late.
Transfers and fares by destination
Take the airport branch from Changi Airport CG2 to Tanah Merah EW4. Change to the East–West Line towards Tuas Link EW33. Do not take the Pasir Ris direction for these city destinations.

An alternative via the Downtown Line
You can also change at Expo CG1 / DT35 for the Downtown Line towards Bukit Panjang DT1. Compare this option on the network map for hotels near Downtown Line stations such as Bugis DT14. The destination cards above describe the route via Tanah Merah.
